a peculiar start

Almost a week ago I left my house; I rode a plane, and then another plane, and then a bus, and eventually made it here: Daegu, South Korea.
Back at home, all of my friends are making sure all of their classes line up, taking their last vacations of the summer, and binge-watching netflix while they have the time to. Meanwhile, I'm adjusting to life in a different country; eating Korea's finest popsicles to cope with the overwhelming humidity, trying to remember to speak in the more respectful form of Korean when communicating with my elders, and taking an insane amount of pictures in order to properly document my experiences. So I guess that's where my life starts to differ from that of your average junior in high school.
So, in order to embrace this crazy life I live, I started a blog to share and express my thoughts, pictures, and experiences of this peculiar lifestyle.
